NEXT THEORY COURSE:
The next course of ten lessons begins in January 2019 (if there is sufficient interest.). Contact me at [email protected], if you are interested in joining the class or would like to know more.. Review from a year 9 student (Dec 2016) "Alison's 10 week theory course is short, sharp and and concise and she imparts her wisdom enthusiastically and efficiently. While teaching, she calls on both her vast wealth of musical theory knowledge and her understanding of ABRSM exam format and context. I would highly recommend this course to others." Finding the time to prepare for your Grade Five theory exam can feel like quite a mission. Especially as you need to have passed it in order to enter for a Grade 6 practical exam with ABRSM. The quick and effective solution is to attend one of my ten week courses. No previous theory experience is necessary although you do need to be able to read music and be working at Grade 4/5 level on an instrument! I have a 100% pass rate.. Be warned though - you do have to do your homework of which there is a reasonable amount.
